Decenter I consists of found images from various private collections.

Presented as an illusionary three-dimensional slide installation the images recollect the forgotten story of Decenter, an international artist colony at Marienborg Manor on the island Moen (1972-1984). The selected images focus on Decenter's creative activity and playful movements in the public park of the manor.

Along with the slide installation newspapers from the 1970s are presented, which tell about the way Decenter came to an abrupt and dramatic end in 1984.
